BYRON Bay comedian and writer Mandy Nolan is trying to keep alive her work supporting people living with dementia.

The artist will feature in today’s version of SBS’s panel show Insight.

The program will discuss ways to improve the quality of life of people living with dementia and how to create dementia-friendly communities in the country.

Ms Nolan has run workshops in Brunswick Heads to help people living with dementia.

She would like to keep the workshops alive but there is no Government funding available for it.

Nolan said she will start a crowdfunding campaign once she has finished promoting her latest book, Home Truths.

The program will be aired tonight on SBS TV from 8.30pm.
